Dr. Yi Siyan, MD, MHSc, PhD.

Dr. Yi Siyan is Assistant Professor and Director of UHS-SPH Integrated Research Program at Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. He also serves as Director of KHANA Center for Population Health Research in Cambodia and Adjunct Professor at Center for Global Health Research, Touro University California in the United States and as an Editor for PLOS One and BMC Public Health. He holds a Medical Doctor (MD) degree from the University of Health Science in Cambodia, and a Master of Health Sciences (MHSc) and a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in International Health Sciences from the University of Tokyo in Japan. He worked as Postdoctoral Fellow in Asia Health Policy at Stanford University in the United States until 2013. He also served as Research Fellow at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine in Tokyo and University of South Australia in Adelaide. He returned home and established KHANA Center for Population Health Research in 2015 where he has been a Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI of more than 20 large-scale research projects, including four ongoing randomized controlled trials. Through his career, he has published more than 100 research articles international journals and a number of operational reports. He is the winner of six international research awards. He is now lecturing the course of Programs Evaluation in Public Health.
