Assistant Prof. Mam Sovatha, BBA., BSc., MPH
Assistant Prof. Mam Sovatha is currently the vice rector of the University of Health Sciences.
He received his BSc. in computer sciences from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), BBA from National Institute of Management (NIM) and MPH from the School of Public Health, NIPH. In 2004, he joined the Visiting Scholar Program in the Department of Epidemiology at School of Public Health, UCLA. His main interest is to bridge the gap between public health and technology. Mr. Sovatha leads many system developments during his work at National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STDs(2002-2017) including National HIV database system, SMS reminder system to improve the appointment keeping of OI/ART patient, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) dashboard, Unique Identifier System to follow up patients across health facilities. He co-lectures courses on Data Management and Analysis, Rapid Survey, and Thesis Development Workshop at School of Public Health at National Institute of Public Health.
