K2P Center visits NIPH as part of its K2P Mentorship Program for a training workshop on Evidence-Based Health Policy Making in order to understand the importance of properly implementing knowledge translation techniques in order to produce policies that will resonate with policy makers and greatly affect their decision making based on evidence and facts.

Our participants were taught to create proper problem statements that encompassed straightforward issues that needed to be resolved in a way that is understandable by the masses and policy makers and showcasing the urgency of the situation. This was followed by a shared discussion on how stakeholders should be chosen which will be important in determining whether this problem can be solved.
