This means, we are fully recognized by government, to provide accurate, reliable, and timely laboratory results to support clinical’s decision; to detect early and report the emerging and re-emerging diseases through laboratory surveillance; and building capacity and laboratory research.

To ensure we provide high quality services as international standard, we have been tries to pursue ISO (15198) accreditation for our clinical laboratories to upgrade the quality and safety.

As we are on progress for the final stage of this ISO accreditation, we received some assessment visit from USCDC and other relevant partner to help us improve labs capacity in order to be certified for ISO (15198) accreditation:

  • On February 8, 2018, a group of US CDC staff, Dr. Rachel, US-CDC country director, Dr. John Williams, CDC Head of Asia Division, & Dr. Turgeon, ISO expert from US-CDC ATL. Visit National Reference Laboratory as a part of ISO pre-assessment and provide feedback to NIPH director, Asso.
