Assistant Prof. Chau Darapheak, MD., MPH., PhD.

Assistant Prof. Chau Darapheak is currently a Head of Laboratory Bureau at the National Institute of Public Health and lecturer in the School of Public Health. In 1998, he graduated with a medical doctor degree from the University of Health Sciences, Phnom Penh. He successfully graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Health from the National Public Health Institute, Japan in 2007 and a Philosophy Doctor in Health Promotion and International Health from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan in 2013. In addition to his academic backgrounds, he has had experience working with various public health areas as including provincial immunization program officer, basic health service delivery supervisor, disease surveillance and outbreak investigation team leader, and laboratory quality management system coordinator. He is now lecturing some courses of the Computer Application by using the Hinari, PubMed and Literature Reviews, Hospital Management in Emergency and Disaster, and Hospital Waste Management and Infection Control.
