Prof. Chhea Chhorvann, MD, MPH, PhD.
Prof. Chhea Chhorvann is currently NIPH’s Director and the Dean of School of Public Health of National Institute of Public Health (NIPH). He has been a lecturer in the school since 2007. His background was medical doctor, graduated in 1997 from the faculty of medicine, the University of Health Sciences, Phnom Penh Cambodia. In 2001, he got his Master of Public Health degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia. In 2009, he got his Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, USA. He has a research background in HIV epidemiological research, health system, maternal and child health, Evaluation of the Impact of Voucher for Reproductive Health in Health Service Utilization, Evaluation of the Linkage of HEF and CBHI in the Provincial ODs (Stong, Kampong Thom, Chamka Leu and Moung Reussey), and Evaluation of the Child Health Targeted Intervention. He is now lecturing the courses in Reproductive Health, Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology, Basic and Intermediate Biostatistics, Intermediate Epidemiology, Data Management and Data Analysis with Stata, Rapid Survey in Health Research and Thesis Development Workshop.
