Associate Prof. Khuon Eng Mony, M.D., MPH.

Associate Prof. Khuon Eng Mony was the Former Deputy Director of the Department of Preventive Medicine, Ministry of Health (MoH) in Cambodia. She graduated with her Bachelor of a Medical Doctor from the University of Health Sciences, Cambodia in 1985 and her Master Degree in Primary Health Care Management from the Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Thailand in 1996. Her thesis focused on Factors related to Health Center Utilization of rural people in Nakorn Ratchasima Province, Thailand. She has been working in the field of non-communicable diseases, public health management in emergencies and disasters injury surveillance and health care for the elderly. She is now an active member of the Non-Communicable Diseases Task Force; a member of the Technical Committee of National Disaster Management Committee and a focal person for Disaster Management in the health sector. She also involves an injury surveillance system development in Cambodia. Currently, she is a lecturer at the School of Public health of the National Institute of Public Health. She is now lecturing the courses of the Epidemiology of Non-communicable Disease, Occupational and Environmental Health, and Hospital Management in Emergency and Disaster.
